I remember your hands

Every nook, every indention,
The way you loved to slip them
In between mine, and interlock.
I remember lavender
Thin and sweet,
Drifting through the air
As you moved closer.
I remember your hair
I remember the way each individual strand
Fell perfectly on your shoulders
Like hazel colored rain
Out of a clear sky.
I remember your laugh
I remember shared looks
I remember touching elbows
God dammit I remember EVERYTHING
