Moonsong

The moon shone down
Upon the ground,
Pulling in the tides,
Hung with care
In midnight air,
The sun behind him hides.
As he sings his song,
That which is wrong
Will all be made right soon,
His velvet words
Can oft be heard,
Just listen to the tune:
“Sing and laugh
And be romanced,
Through joy and pain,
We learn to dance.
Though night may seem
It never ends,
The light will always
Come again.”
